CNMI Additive Manufacturing Forum 2013
This unique one-day forum brought together manufacturers to discuss opportunities that Additive Manufacturing can bring to their organizations and to the economy. The forum was presented by the California Network for Manufacturing Innovation (CNMI) whose members include CMTC, MANEX, a team from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Research Triangle Institute (RTI), El Camino College, USC, i-Gate and NIST.

Buck Koonce and Patrick Dempsey of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory provide opening remarks, and Scott Summit of Bespoke Innovations delivers the keynote.

Success Stories - Additive Manufacturing Forum
Betsey Cantwell of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory moderates a discussion of success stories in additive manufacturing. Panelists include Chris Yonge of Makers Factory, Chris Spadaccini of LLNL, and Rich Stump of Studio Fathom.

OEM Needs Panel
David Cranmer of the National Institute of Standards and Technology moderates a discussion on the role of additive manufacturing in everything from unmanned aircraft systems to dentistry. Panelists include John McNeil of AeroVironment, John Malinzak of Pratt Whitney Rocketdyne, and Shane Collins of Argen.

Vendor/Supplier Panel
Gene Russell of MANEX moderates a discussion on 3-D modeling and additive manufacturing. Panelists include Gonzalo Martinez of Autodesk, Rich Chen of Microfabrica, and Patrick Dunne of 3-D Systems.

Afternoon Keynote
Kish Rajan delivers the afternoon keynote address at the CNMI Additive Manufacturing Forum. Rajan is the director of Business and Economic Development in the office of the Governor of California (Go-BIZ).
